You can test your sledge on the field directly in front of the Speckerhof, after that you will easily be able to run down one of the many natural slopes or even test the artificial run in the sports center in Maranza.

The region Gitschberg-Jochtal is particularly nice for excursions and snowshoe hikes. Walk trough the untouched snow, listen to it crouching under your shoes and get surrounded by the magic of winter. Our tip: the Altafossa valley.

Ski touring has become more and more popular over the last decades, the same has happened in the region Gitschberg-Jochtal. You can choose out of a multitude of routes and, once arrived to the destination, you can enjoy the fantastic panoramic views and the spectacular downhill ride. Our tip: on Thursday evenings (from mid December to mid February) the slopes and the Gitschhütte are opened for ski touring until 10 pm.
